Captive-bred Pleurodeles waltls are roughly 2-3 inches long overall, with adults often not growing longer than 8 inches. They eat a variety of pelleted foods including pinhead crickets.
These animals live naturally in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco and enjoy ponds, swamps, canals, and other slowly moving to stagnant bodies of water. Their setups are very simple and low maintenance; neither light nor heat are needed, and they get along well in groups. With the right care, these newts can live for eight to ten years or more in captivity.

We ship from Monday through Friday. Orders for reptiles placed before 2:00 pm are often sent the same day.
Orders for reptiles placed after 2:00 PM are sent the next day.
For example, if your order is placed at 5 p.m. on Monday, it will be sent on Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday morning.
You can ask for a different shipping day. Tell us which day works best for you by sending us an email.

We pack your reptiles as safely and effectively as we can. Every order for reptiles is delivered in a cardboard box packed with styrofoam that is designed especially for shipping reptiles.
